Fellside Forum

Founded in 2000, Fellside Forum is a strong, locally based non-party-political organisation constituted to protect and enhance the amenity of it's area and further the interests of the inhabitants of the Fellside and Greenside in Kendal (Cumbria, United Kingdom).

We work to preserve and enhance the best in our attractive environment and the quality of life of everyone in our community. We do this through active engagement with our community, local authorities and other organisations and with local politicians. We act as a pressure group where necessary, a channel for funding, an event organiser and as an agent for change based on a community led action plan.

Save Our Green Spaces Petition

If you haven't already signed or seen this petition, or are naware of the issues behind it, do have a look as the proposals it deals with could have major effects on the future shape of Fellside and Greenside. The issues involved are around new building on greenfield sites and the petition simply calls for a Poll so that those living or working in the Kendal area can vote 'yes' or 'no' to the SLDC's Land Allocations Document after the arguments both for and against the plans have been given an evenhanded airing.
